K. P. Reji (b. 1972) received his MFA from MSU, Baroda in 2000 and BFA in 1998. Reji was in the Residency at URU for 8 months and produced a series of paintings that explored the intimate assemblage of the personal, social, and political. Some of Reji’s Museum/institutional shows include, National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai (2017), Art Basel Hong Kong by The Guild, Mumbai (2013), Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2012), Jogja Biennale, Indonesia (2011), Kunstmuseum Bern, Switzerland, (2007). Reji has been represented by The Guild in many international art fairs, Art Taipei, India Art Fair, Dubai Art Fair, Hongkong Art fair, Art Basel, Hong Kong. Reji was awarded the prestigious Sanskriti Award for the Young Artist-2007 by Sanskriti Foundation, New Delhi.
