PAST EXHIBITION
Works of Conscience
Art Heritage brings to New Delhi for the very first time art works culled from The Alkazi Collection and Art Heritage Collection that address universal issues related to social injustices, gender and political events. Motivated by a deep- seated concern for the reality that surrounds them, artists respond to their critical times, producing Works of Conscience. Using allegory, metaphor or symbol, ironically or through cold realism, the works are explicit in their dissent, protest or attack.
Spread across Art Heritage 1 & Art Heritage 2, the exhibition opens on Monday, January 28th, 2019 at 6 pm. All are welcome. Visitors will also have an opportunity to enjoy select works the The Art Book Exhibition 2019 (ends January 27, 2019), where artists have created art books in a variety of mediums.
