Kavita Shah

Kavita Shah – Kavita Shah (b.1962) is an accomplished printmaker and art educator with over 35 years of experience in printmaking, art education, mentoring, curation, and international arts collaboration. She holds a Master’s degree in Printmaking from the Faculty of Fine Arts, MS University of Baroda (1985). Shah has participated in over 50 national and international juried exhibitions and has worked in renowned studios across the USA, Germany, France, Italy, and Finland. Through the Chhaap Foundation and ResiArt Board, she has led more than 35 international artist residencies and facilitated cross-cultural dialogue. Shah also initiated an Indo-Iran artist exchange program and contributed to the restoration of a government printmaking facility in Jaipur. Her work is part of notable collections, including the National Assembly of Paris and Vidhan Sabha of Bhopal.
